Daytona Beach FRM Study FCSA signing
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District Commander, Col. James Booth, signed a Federal Cost Sharing Agreement with the City of Daytona Beach, Florida, for the Daytona Beach Flood Risk Management Feasibility Study Jan. 22, 2024, in Jacksonville. The 3-year feasibility study will investigate solutions to reduce the risk of flooding to citizens, infrastructure and the economic vitality of Daytona Beach. The study will assess and hydraulically model the worst flooding areas within the vicinity of Nova Road, Orange Avenue, Belview Road and U.S. Highway 1 (South Ridgewood Ave).
